It was windy as hell and this was the best shot I could get of my rose that is going to take over the world.
This is why roses get trimmed. This one has been trimmed before – same stalk in fact. It’s a uppity thing. Maybe that back stalk gets more benefit from the pet cemetery around the corner than the rest of the plant.

Restaurant bans screaming kids.
One mom responds, “You can’t help it if your kids scream.”
Well, maybe not if they scream once or twice. Continual screaming you can prevent or stop – by leaving if necessary and embarrassing the child. Plus, screaming isn’t so much the issue as what they do while they are screaming, ie. running around like little maniacs, playing under other people’s tables, etc.
Personally, I hope this becomes a trend. Happy news via Laura.

A restaurant can ban whatever it feel is in their best interest. I’m all for banning screaming kids :)

Hah! I had not seen that.
My brother had a cat that had kittens, and the cat was obviously a worthless whore of a mother who refused to feed her babies. He also had a dog who decided to feed the kittens for her. We’ve all heard of animals feeding different animals’ babies, like that kitty and squirrel there. But the crazy thing about my brother’s dog feeding the kitties, is that the dog had never had babies, never even been in heat because was spayed before that happened. So how that dog produced milk for those kitties is a mystery. She just knew they needed it and did it. The animal world is so crazy.
Nature provides sometimes. :)
