Go ahead, have a racial discussion

As long as it suits the accepted narrative, I’m sure. Eric Holder, new AG, has stated that we Americans are cowards (link goes to Newsweek, sorry) because we don’t openly discuss racial issues (for now, we’ll ignore that America is far more open and accepting of race and related discussions than just about any other country in the world).

He urged people of all races to use Black History Month as a chance for honest discussion of racial matters, including issues of health care, education, and economic disparities.

Race “is an issue we have never been at ease with and, given our nation’s history, this is in some ways understandable,” Holder said. “If we are to make progress in this area, we must feel comfortable enough with one another and tolerant enough of each other to have frank conversations about the racial matters that continue to divide us.”

Well, if you are gonna be called a racist whenever you venture an observation that isn’t socially acceptable to the race baiters, then why would you bother? They have succeeded in chilling public discourse till there is nothing to talk about. All you are allowed to do is parrot the talking points of the “educated elite” and the professional greivance mongers.

Discussion of health care, education and economic disparities isn’t going to be tolerated unless you are saying that non white races need more health care, better education and more money – and it needs to be handed to them on a platter.

I guess this just shows that Holder is truly cut from the same cloth as his masters – they won but it won’t be enough until they have everyone at least giving lip service to their lock step views.

“If we’re going to ever make progress, we’re going to have to have the guts, we have to have the determination, to be honest with each other. It also means we have to be able to accept criticism where that is justified,” Holder told reporters after the speech.

He’s right. He’s dead on. But that little “where justified” addition means that unless it is seen to be justified by the victim class then it won’t be accepted and you’ll still be called a racist. It would be brave of him to say that until we can stop calling people racist for simply disagreeing with each other we won’t make any progress, but that isn’t the progress he and his masters want to see. So they’ll happily keep us all stuck in the 1950s, afraid to talk to or about each other. It furthers their political agenda, don’t you see? If progress really is made and acknowledged, then the permanent victim subcaste has no reason to need their betters to “fight” for them.

Same as it ever was…
