Language
Language is a funny thing. Don’t know about you, but my brain seizes on rhymes and alliteration like mad. Rhyming is attractive to our brains and assists in learning so maybe human beings are hardwired to pick up on rhymes.
I do know that this sign does nothing to make me want to try this restaurant:
I can’t read “fury. ” My brain says “furry.”
Furry curry. Yik.
Crap…I saw “furry”, too….
Heh. I didn’t see “furry” but it’s so close “fury” doesn’t seem to work. The brain wants to go to “furry.”
