Hm. I think not.

Got this in an email. Was interested because I’m a fiend for anything with avocado.

1 rotisserie chicken, meat removed from bones and chopped into bitesize pieces
1/2 cup pink grapefruit sections
1/2 cup orange sections
1/2 cup lemon sections
1/2 cup lime sections
1 avocado, peeled and chopped
1/4 cup shaved fennel
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1/4 cup prepared champagne vinaigrette
1/2 teaspoon coarse salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Garnish: butter lettuce, fennel fronds, toast points
In a medium bowl, combine chicken, grapefruit, orange, lemon, lime, avocado, fennel, and cilantro. Gently toss to coat in champagne vinaigrette; add salt and pepper, and toss to coat. Garnish with butter lettuce, fennel fronds, and toast points, if desired. Serve immediately.
Um… sections of lemon and lime. With nothing to cut that sour. I think not.

    Maybe cut out the vinaigrette and substitute it with tablespoon of said lemon+lime? With some peanut oil to taste?

    Or just make a BLT with thinly sliced avocado and forget the whole salad affair.
